ZonePane for iOS Reaches Feature Parity ― Auto-Refresh Now Available

Bluesky, Mastodon, and Misskey in one app — now the same iPhone experience as Android.

ZonePane for iOS v5 — app overview

Panecraft, Inc. (Sapporo, Hokkaido; CEO: Hiroaki Takeuchi) has released ZonePane for iOS v5, a major update to its multi-SNS client app that has surpassed 30,000 cumulative downloads. This release adds the most-requested feature, auto-refresh, marking the iOS version as feature-complete. The Android version was simultaneously updated to v41, and a new Pro Plan subscription tier was introduced on both platforms.

Background of the iOS Version

ZonePane is a client app for three federated social networks — Bluesky, Mastodon, and Misskey. It is built on the foundation of TwitPane, our former Twitter client that surpassed 1.3 million cumulative downloads. To bring the same attention to detail and polish from the Android version to the iOS platform, development of the iOS edition began in June 2025.

Development Timeline

We have progressively expanded service coverage and added features such as video posting and image/video downloads. With auto-refresh now supported — previously the largest gap from the Android version — the iOS edition has reached feature completeness.

Key Features of ZonePane

Multi-SNS support

Manage Bluesky, Mastodon, and Misskey accounts from a single app.

Read-position memory

Remembers how far you have read in each timeline and resumes from the same spot on relaunch. A unique feature not found in other clients.

Auto-refresh (NEW)

Automatically refreshes timelines at regular intervals so you always have the latest posts without manually pulling to reload.

Note: Due to iOS platform constraints, periodic refresh occurs only while the app is running. On Android, new posts are also fetched in the background and delivered as notifications.

Auto-refresh feature

Multi-account

Switch between and manage multiple accounts simultaneously, including switching the posting/like/repost account on the fly. Convenient operations such as "like with another account" — not available in official apps — are supported.

Cross-posting

Post simultaneously to multiple SNS services and accounts. Character-limit differences are checked automatically, and you can also share to X or Threads after posting.

Display and input custom emoji on Mastodon and Misskey, via our in-house emoji picker.

Flexible tab layout

Arrange home timelines from multiple accounts as tabs and flick to switch between them.

Detailed customization

Theme colors, font sizes, per-user color labels, extended tap actions, and more — designed to fit your hand the more you use it.

New "Pro Plan" Tier

Alongside this release, a new subscription tier — the Pro Plan — has been introduced on both iOS and Android, addressing the needs of power users who run many accounts across multiple SNS services.

Both the Basic Plan and Pro Plan remove ads and ease the cross-post limit (up to 5 accounts can share simultaneously).
